Arecibo Call for Ionospheric Modification (HF facility) Proposals: The Arecibo Observatory invites you to submit proposals for the use of the HF facility during 2018. HF experiments at Arecibo are scheduled by demand in periods of 5-7 days around new moon.

Figure 1.0: HF wave generate artificial effects in the ionosphere. This activity is observed by the incoherent scatter radar (ISR) from Arecibo. The HF system and the ISR work in parallel. The Figure shows the volumetric characteristics of the artificial ionospheric effects and how the ISR samples that volume.
